Brian Gunn is an economic and community development professional. His experience includes leadership in project management, program development, and business recruitment & retention. Gunn works with REV Birmingham as a District Coordinator in the ongoing revitalization efforts in the Woodlawn and Ensley Communities in Birmingham, Alabama. He logged well over 1900 hours of service through the YWCA of Central Alabama’s AmeriCorps Program, before being hired on full-time with REV Birmingham. His passion for volunteerism and heart for improving his community have led him to serve with Civitan International and to offer his experience to boards in the Birmingham area. Brian earned his undergraduate degree at Louisiana Tech University in Political Science and History. He is now using those disciplines to forge a new chapter in Birmingham’s ongoing revival.
